Best of all, ClarisWorks 6.2 runs in OS X through version 10.6.8 Snow Leopard. I used ClarisWorks 1.0 to convert all my word processing files, since MacWrite files were easily corrupted. When ClarisWorks was new, it had file converters for MacWrite documents.Microsoft Word versions prior to 6.0 can import MacWrite documents.WriteNow 4 can import MacWrite files and export as RTF, which is a big improvement over raw text.DataViz MacLinkPlus used to support MacWrite file conversion, but it dropped support for legacy file formats some time ago.Another option is to copy all the text and paste it into a more modern word processor. At the least, you can Save As to a text file. ![]()
